Post- Production

To create my final video I used a professional software called Adobe Premier Pro on an Apple Mac. I had had no prior experience with this software which meant that it took time to find my way around the different effects and transitions making the software quite difficult at first. However due to being able to film quickly due to knowing how to use the camera, I left myself a lot of time to edit on the basis that I knew that I would need time for me to familiarise myself with the software. This didn’t pose too much of an issue as there were lots of videos on YouTube describing in detail how to use the different effects and transitions and through this hard work and commitment I was able to produce a video which was to a good standard. Whilst I wasn't familiar with the software (Adobe Premier Pro), I was very familiar with the ways around a Mac due to using my Mac on a daily basis which made the post-production stage slightly easier. Once I had finished creating my video, I transferred it onto Youtube. Rasterising the video posed some difficulty as it was a very big file and therefore took a long time to rasterise however after this process, posting it on YouTube posed no difficulty. Finally, I was able to publish the video onto YouTube and copy the embedded code which I then pasted onto Blogger. Which meant that my video could be watched directly from my Blog, creating a strong link between the two technologies. This also demonstrates again how Blogger allows a of my final pieces of work to be secured and located in one place.

In addition to using Photoshop CC for my ancillary products, I also used this software to create a header on my YouTube music video. I decided to print screen a shot from the music video where my artist looked most appealing and attractive and edited this image on Photoshop. Applying this header photo onto my YouTube clip posed some difficulty at first however I used Google to research how to solve the problem, finding that I had to verify my YouTube account before being able to change the header photo.
